Step 1: Phone Line
I don't have a phone line. Where to now?
Simply call Telkom on 10219 to order a post-paid phone line. Unfortunately, as much as we'd like to, we cannot do this on your behalf.
My phone line is a pre-paid phone line. Can I get ADSL with this line?
Unfortunately not. Your Telkom phone line must be on a post-paid account, not pre-paid.
Call Telkom on 10219 to convert to post-paid.

You have a choice of three line speeds. The faster your line, the quicker you can download and surf, but the more expensive it is. If you're a new user then starting slow is the way to go. Did You Know: Take your ADSL line with us and receive a nice monthly discount on your line rental!
Already got a line, but you'd like to migrate to us and save? If you currently have your line with Telkom or another ISP and want it with us instead you can simply migrate the line to us.
Migrating to us is one simple phone call, telling your current ISP that you'd like to migrate your line back to Telkom. Once that's done, just let us know and we'll do the rest. This process is not only simple, but there should be no service interruption.

To Use ADSL You Need a Router
A router, like a modem, is a nifty gadget that connects your computer to your ADSL line. No router, no Internet!
We're offering you the choice of two types of ADSL routers:
WIRED ROUTEROur wired router allows you to connect to the Internet from a fixed point in your home or office - ideal for desktop computers.
WIRELESS ROUTERA wireless router gives you the freedom of connecting anywhere in your home or office (subject to the range of the wireless signal) - ideal for notebooks or desktops with a wireless adapter.
